Qiao (Simon) Guo M.D.


Originally from Maryland, he did his undergraduate at Cornell University. Dr. Guo attended Saint Louis University School of Medicine and completed his Anesthesiology residency at Stony Brook Medical Center. During his residency, Dr. Guo developed a strong interest in the field of pain medicine and subsequently completed his fellowship training in pain medicine at Weill Cornell Tri-Institutional. There, he worked with leaders in the field of pain medicine at three world-renowned hospitals: New York Presbyterian Hospital-Weill Cornell Medical Center, Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, and Hospital for Special Surgery.


Dr. Guo is a warm, compassionate, and dedicated pain management specialist who believes that every patient is unique in his or her own way and should be treated like a family member. His interests in pain medicine include interventional procedures for joint and spine disorders, neuromodulation therapy, and regenerative medicine such as platelet rich plasma therapy, among others. He uses only the most effective and up-to-date techniques with ultrasound and fluoroscopy guidance, which are both readily available in his office. Dr. Guo will utilize various approaches to ensure that his patients receive the best care, preventing any unnecessary surgeries.


Dr. Guo is fluent in both English and Chinese. When he is not working, he enjoys playing tennis, traveling, and spending time with his family.
